I'm back from missing the last 3 shows because of work.

It sounds scratchy, but I'll be here for the long run. I'm even recording it

The antenna is fine. They did some "upgrades" to the system a couple months ago, and there have been problems with the stream ever since.

I've reported it each time it's come up. I don't know why the IT department hasn't been able to diagnose what's going on.

If ain't broke don't fix it. Remove the upgrades.

That's what I thought, Papa! Everything was working fine, they changed something, everything's no longer working fine. First thing I thought was, undo whatever you did.

But I don't know how any of that works, and I've met our IT guy several times and he's super chill and knows his stuff.

Someone wrote me to compliment the show, but said the fact I don't get a lot of "likes" on Facebook shows how KSPC as an institution has been ruined.

I normally wouldn't respond, but obviously I'm ride or die with the station.

Yeah, I wrote him back and said, you know, thanks, but however many likes I get isn't important to me. All I care about is if people enjoy the show. And I told him most of our listeners aren't on social media and they reach out in other ways.

The last couple years especially, when I show up and take off with mom and dad to go to a concert, she's started to get really bummed out because she wants to go to shows with us.

So we've been trying to figure out what her first show was going to be. And we finally have it. We're taking her to see Heart in December. So I get to watch this amazing little girl freak out while hearing live music for the first time.

Ann and Nancy are incredible female musicians and strong women for her to see and hear live

I've seen them three times and Ann's voice just gets better every time. She may be my all-time favorite vocalist.

Yeah, she's gonna love it. She's a little punk rock girl because that's what her mom raised her on, so we'll find a good punk show for her soon. But we'll get her started with something with seats and no pit to make sure she's into it.

My nephew is the one who goes crazy when he hears Korn and Slayer, but he's only 6 so we're gonna have to wait a few more years before we can take him to a show.

Dude, Napalm Death has been so amazing for so long. I'm sure most casual fans have totally forgotten about this record, but even the deep cuts are crushers like this.

We just had the 2 day 510 Grindfest at a warehouse near by. It was brutal and awesome. So many killer bands. And people from 11-55yo. It was amazing

I hear you, Hell. A total disconnect between hands and feet. They're holding down this steady beat with the high-hat and snare, but the kick drum is matching the guitar chugs. That can't be easy.

You really got to come up next year to the 510 Grindfest. There are so many killer bands with crazy F'N drummers. All the bands are pretty unknown except by people in the scene. You'll see so many awesome bands you've never heard of!
