Yes. This music really IS Jazz! This show is for those who like the more adventurous aspects of Jazz. Emphasis is placed on Free Jazz and Jazz/Rock Fusion, though other modern Jazz styles may also be heard from time to time. Artists range from John Coltrane, Ornette Coleman, Dave Douglas and Evan Parker to The Mahavishnu Orchestra, Return to Forever, Allan Holdsworth and Niacin. Tune in and hear artists who are constantly pushing the boundaries of America's original art form. It's Jazz Progressions.
