Thanks for tuning in - My name is King Dubb, and I am the host of the popular radio show called "King Dubb Presents 'The Phonk Show'", performing Friday Nights 10p - 12a weekly on KSQD. I am a native NY'er (hailing from Buffalo, NY).
On The Phonk Show we dig into the crates to present to you eclectic blends of Funk, Disco, Reggae, Soul, Jazz, Hip Hop, Motown, Urban, Neo Soul and Old School cuts. Music that I have a deep appreciation and connection with. Music that I not only listen to but played as a vocalist/musician in the past.
I love mixing up the playlists to take you on a musical journey, strolling down Memory Lane, featuring music that will have you feeling like you traveled back in time! Music that you may have grown up on, or heard at a family function. All positive music, all great tunes that hold a special place in my heart - I know you will feel the same.
