1. When and why did you get involved with 88.1FM? I first started my training in the Fall of 2016, and I actually signed up during Main Street to fulfill a requirement for an Honors class, and the more involved I became, the more and more I liked it. 2. What show(s) do you currently host on KVSC? I host The Area on Monday nights from 7pm-9pm, and it's my favorite show to do. I love supporting local artists, but I'll do just about any show. 3. Please list some of the artists and musicians that you consider a must play on your show(s). Phantom Tails, The Happy Children, Beats Antique, Jack White, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, the list goes on and on... 4. What music do you listen to when you’re not tuned into KVSC? Tool, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Morphine, Pink Floyd, John Mackey 5. What is the most embarrassing (perhaps even shameful) music phase you have gone through? I actually managed to go through a punk phase (think Pierce the Veil, My Chemical Romance) and a One Direction phase, simultaneously. Middle school was a different time. 6. What are your hobbies and/ or interests? I'm a musician, and I spend my free-time making/playing music. I also do a lot of hiking/mischief-making. 7. When you are not at work or KVSC where can you most likely be found? The Twin Cities, the woods, or my bed. 8. What’s the most challenging part of being a radio DJ? Keeping my content fresh, interesting, and organized. 9.) Why are you involved with independent community radio at 88.1 FM? Because I love supporting local artists and finding new-to-me music to share with my listeners. 10. What would you like to be doing in five years? Teaching as a high school band teacher and making music with my friends.
